My stay at Selina Monteverde was fantastic! The rooms were comfortable and clean, and the staff, especially Luz and Raquel, were really nice and interacted with us a lot. The location was perfectly near the Cloud Forest, making it convenient for exploring. The dining experience was really good, and the Pork Belly was super delish. The facilities were great, and the overall value for money was crazy for what they offer.

The service from both the Selina Monteverde staff and the call center was excellent, despite a mishap with our laundry. The location is beautiful, although a bit secluded and quiet. Staying at the hotel was a mixed experience. The rooms had three fronts of windows, which was nice, but they were generally freezing with no heat. On the bright side, the yoga room was very clean and fresh. The service was a bit of a rollercoaster with the staff being similar to many others I've encountered, a bit entitled and rude but also some of the best I've seen, friendly and helpful. The location had its ups and downs as it was not central, requiring taxis, but it was near the Monteverde Cloudforest Reserve, offering free shuttle service there and back. The dining experience was a bit underwhelming compared to other Selinas, with good food but slow service. The facilities were decent overall.
